Please Calm Down Father

Usually it takes some time
To think of a wonderful poem
Putting together inspiring thoughts
To create an art of my own

But my father is not as patience, you see
Every other day he is asking again
To know when I will post a new poem
Like with out these, his day has no end

But Father, you see, it’s not so
I promise you will be just fine
With out my poems you will survive
The fear is all in your mind

Now I know my poems are awesome
And nothing can compare
To the feelings and emotions
That my poetry shares

I know some are so funny
That laughter has never felt so true
And others are so passionate
That time seems to split in two

There are those that are so loving
That only MY words can explain
Like gliding through the soft smooth sky
In a quite and seemless plane

But all the same, you need to know
That you can be quit a bother
Never failing in you requests
So PLEASE calm down Father
Just playing with you Dad. You know that I enjoy your enthusiasm with my one impeccably cool talent. LOL

HALLOWEEN NIGHT

Halloween is a different sort
A holiday all on its own
The only day of every year
Odd creatures come out to roam

Witches and Wizards
Stirring their brew
Goblins and Gremlins
And Werewolves too

The day of the dead
And the day of the scary
Creepy and crawly
And everything hairy

While children dress up
And run door to door
Screaming “Trick-Or-Treat”
And think nothing of it more

These creatures run amuck
Not ever being seen
But the mastiff they cause
Is vivid and mean

Jack-O-Lanterns smashed
And graffiti on the walls
Toilet-papered houses
And heads ripped off dolls

But because adults don’t see them
They all seem to claim
That rebel teenagers did it
And they give them all the blame

So next time you go out
On a dark Halloween night
Be carful who you talk to
In the misty dim lit light

For the creatures of the dark
Will be out on the streets too
They will look for people to scare
And they might just find you

Are you kidding?

So the papers are filled out
And the prints have been taken
All we can to is now done
Unless I’m mistaken

We are now told to wait
To go on like life’s normal
Play one day at a time
This time is not formal

I’m thinking “Are you kidding”
Forget the anxiety we fell
Go on like life’s normal!!
Are you serially for real?

Don’t you get that any minute
She will give us a call
And tell us we have been chosen
Us out of them all!!!!!

We will meet with the mother
And pray that she likes us
We will try so stay calm
And not make a lot of fuss

She will love who we are
And time will go by
Them see will give birth
And our hearts will start to cry

We will look through the window
At the baby that is our own
It will be wrapped in a soft blanket
And we will finally bring it home

So go on like life’s normal
With our anxiety forbidding
I can’t believe my hears
Serially, are you kidding????

On My Blog

I walk up in the morning
With my eyes full of fog
I quickly shower and get dressed
So I can check my Blog

I run down stairs
And feed my dog
Stoping while he eats
To update my Blog

I go to work and wait
The whole 8 hours long
Then drive home like a demand
Then I log into my Blog

I quickly cook dinner
Then eat like a hog
All so I can spend
More time on my Blog

I have gained a lot of weight
Cause I no longer Jog
For I spend ALL my time
Playing on my Blog

My family can say in touch
By reading the dialog
Because I spend so much time
On my 3 different Bolgs

Marriage

Marriage is special and a one time thing
But now a days it's just not the same
People don’t do it or do it too much
But who do you think is to blame

Everyone has an opinion and they differ
It’s a domino effect, some studies say
That is what children grow to know
Their parents divorce and it’s ok

But my opinion is different from all those
I don’t think it is “all our parents fault”
People just want everything to be easy
And they give up too quickly when it’s not

Now don’t get me wrong or miss understand
Sometimes divorce is all you can do
Safety could be a factor or fleeing from abuse
When it comes to that you take care of you

But too many times people don’t understand
The sacred bond between a husband and wife
Marriage is not a “till I don’t like you any more”
It’s means to be together for ALL of your life.

Then there are those who don’t take the risk
Living with some who is not their spouse
They don’t even realize that the risk is still their
They think they are merely playing house

What is it doing to our faith and out trust
When we give up on this ancient pact
We must be the ones to make the difference
Be an example and stand up to act

Be kind to our spouses and patient to our vows
Join in marriage with the ones we hold dear
Trust in our views of a family life
Turn over to God all our worries and fears

Marriage is sacred so let’s treat it that way
Be strong and true to the ones we love
Stick to it through the end and live like we should
So we may be married both on earth and above

My Testimony

I would like to bear my testimony
For I know this church is true
I know my Heavenly Father lives
And that he loves me too

I know we have a true Prophet
To teach us what we need to know
Just like in the times of the bible
He is here to help our spirits grow

I believe in his words
And I strive to live the right way
I have made a convent with God
To listen and obey

I know Joseph Smith was a prophet
He saw the Father and the Son
He restored Christ’s true church
And dedicated his life to teaching everyone

I thank my Heavenly Father
For a Mother who’s love is strong
For a Father who stood as an example
With them I know I belong

I thank him for my brothers
Their straight is beyond my belief
And I am blesses with a loving sister
Who helps me through all my grief

I thank him for my husband
For the love he’ll never cease to give
I am so blessed with all I have
And the peaceful life I live

I would like to bear my testimony
For I know this church is true
I know my Heavenly Father lives
And that he loves me too

She gave your love to me

My child you were adopted
You were birthed by another
I want you to know what I know
About you real birth mother

She loves you so very dearly
But could not give you what you need
She loves you so much, dear child
That she gave your love to me

She knew you would be safe
And grow up in a loving home
Learn of the true and living Gospel
And gain a testimony of your our own

Her love will never leave you
She will never forget your touch
She knew that for you we were perfect
And we would love you very much

You are the answer to our prayers
That were spoken every night
The day we brought you home
We knew everything was right

My child you are blessed
For what you may not know
Is that you hold 2 mothers hearts
For we both love you so

I am the one who holds you
But she’s the one who brought here to me
She gave everything she had
To insure you lived happily

I thank her every day
For the child I hold in my arm
I hope she knows how much I love you
And that you will see no harm

She loves you so very dearly
But could not give you what you need
She loves you so much, dear child
That she gave your love to me
